There are few things more annyoing than 404 errors. Dead links can make people stop looking at a links page. This can hurt websites with names starting with letter like L-M-N-O-P etc... If people are finding a lot of dead links as they go down a page, they may stop before visiting some really good sites. Besides, isn't it annoying when you are looking through links and most are dead? Would it really kill people to just check to see if the link is active and then delete it? Seriously. This is one of my pet peeves. I destroy dead links. Do you? Tell the world in this clique I started about dead links.
